(Honolulu, HI) – XTERRA Global, LLC, owners and producers of the XTERRA World Tour, today announced the award-winning XTERRA Adventures Television Series is moving to a new home on Outside TV, the leading video provider for the adventure sports and outdoor lifestyle category.

Also new in 2019, the 12-episode series of half-hour shows will feature the colorful characters of XTERRA, the elite and amateur athletes who embody the “Live More” spirit of the sport as they train, rest, travel, and race at events around the globe.

The series premier, filmed on location at the XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship in Kenting, Taiwan, is Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 10pm EST.  The show’s protagonists include XTERRA elites Jacqui Allen from Great Britain and Sam Osborne from New Zealand, alongside local legend Svenson Lin, a surfer-turned-triathlete who is sharing his love for adventure far and wide.

“We’re excited to share this new concept for XTERRA Adventures with the world,” said XTERRA President, Janet Clark.  “We think the shows, which are lifestyle focused, will be a big hit with a wide audience because our athletes are amazing people with incredible, often inspiring and heart-warming stories to share.  And the settings are all in spectacular destinations, from the southern tip of Taiwan to the tequila region of Mexico.”

Viewers in the U.S. can watch the show on Outside TV*, while international viewers can watch it on Outside TV’s YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/Outsidetelevision.

“Bringing high quality adventure sports programming to mass audiences has always been the highest priority here at Outside TV,” said Rob Faris, SVP Programming & Production.  “With our new partnership with XTERRA, we will deliver content that feels authentic to our audience while having the opportunity to develop a relationship that continues to grow into the future.”

Produced by XTERRA Global, LLC, and Icarus Sports, the XTERRA Adventure Series will travel from Taiwan (Episode 1) to XTERRA Greece, Belgium, France, Beaver Creek (U.S), Scanno in Italy, Mexico, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Pan American Championship in Utah, then the inaugural XTERRA China event in Kunming, and finally XTERRA Worlds in Maui.

“Expressing the XTERRA brand through video has been a big part of XTERRA since the inception of the sport in 1996, adding a dynamic personality and a broader audience than we may have enjoyed through the events alone,” added Clark.
