Steelman Ironmaiden headed up to the Awhitu peninsular in 2014, and became the Awhitu Multisport Festival. The Awhitu Regional Park proved a great host and provided challenging courses.
We are back there this year on 28th November. Start times are pushed back one hour or so to match the later tide and give easier commuting and courses slightly shorter so we should finish around the same time. High tide at Awhitu will be 1pm
The 2015 event will be based and take place around the Awhitu Regional Park.
The Awhitu Regional Park is an easy 20min drive north from Waiuku.
