Join us for 6 days of mountain bike orienteering action in some fantastic locations, including unique private forest tracks in Woodhill and Maramarua, as well as the world class Rotorua Whakarewarewa mountain bike area.
This event will appeal to mountain bikers looking to inject some fun into their riding experience, through to orienteers looking for a two wheeled challenge. We expect to see participants who cover the spectrum of sporting abilities, from elite bikers and orienteers wanting to battle it out in the open grades, through to families and recreational riders wanting to experience some outdoor fun and entertainment in the recreational grades.
With good numbers expected, and people coming from across New Zealand and Australia, we expect a fun filled few days of riding and socialising in a carnival atmosphere environment. This is a multi-day format programme, with 4 long distance (or “classic”) events, a middle distance, and a sprint event. Enjoy the full carnival experience, or if time’s tight just sign up for an event or two only.
