XTERRA Victoria Trail Run Is A Summer Getaway

If you are looking to escape for the holiday weekend, we have the perfect solution – especially if you aren’t a fan of fireworks. The XTERRA Victoria Trail Run in Victoria, Canada is the ideal place for a mini-getaway to relax, unwind, and not miss a single workout.

Known as “The California of Canada,” Victoria has magnificent scenery, killer trails, and perfect summer weather. Held the same weekend as the XTERRA Victoria off-road triathlon, the trail run is part of a weekend festival. Because it’s a “silver” stop on the XTERRA World Tour, the race will attract some of the finest triathletes in the world, for a full celebration of sport.

The 14k, 3-loop trail run will follow the same route at the XTERRA Victoria off-road triathlon run course, which is affectionately known as “The Beast.” As a trail runner, you will have the distinction of tackling “The Beast” three times.

“This run course is a mixture of technical single track, steep uphills and flowing downhills that will challenge runners of all abilities,” said race director, Monique Moore. “And this is the only race in Canada offering qualifying spots to the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship in Maui.”

In addition to a world-class race, XTERRA Victoria is a perfect spot for the entire family.

“It’s such a beautiful place that many athletes come early and explore the area,” said Moore. “It’s a great mid-summer vacation spot.”
