East Arnhem Land has awesome mountain biking with sandy tracks, creek crossings, rocky terrain and well-worn tracks that wind through uninterrupted beaches, Savannah woodland and Jurassic cycad forests. The inaugural 3-day challenge kicks off on Friday 27 August at Nhulunbuy. Courses start daily from the small town centre and venture into the surrounding lush bushland and beaches. Course distances vary each day, with shorter options for inexperienced and non-endurance riders.
