The Doctor World Cup - Race 1

A 28 kilometre ocean paddle. Starting at the Army Jetty Thompson Bay Rottnest and finishing at Hillarys Marina. This event has a two day window to allow for the best downwind racing conditions. The race may run the other way to take advantage of strong offshore winds that may prevail. Race course and time will be decided on Friday evening at the pre race briefing. This race is planned to start at 1pm on Rottnest Island on Saturday 16th January 2010. We will be assisting in getting craft over to Rottnest. Stand-ups will start at a designated time prior to surf skis. This time will be decided by the race organizers and will be made with the intention of both types of craft finishing around the same time.
