King of the Cape

2010/11 Australian Ocean Racing Series Race 3. Indian Ocean Paddlers and My Ocean Pty Ltd present the 2010 King of the Cape from Smiths Beach to Bunkers Bay 18km. The event is scheduled for Saturday October 2 at 2pm. Registration from 12.30pm at Smiths beach. Ocean course – Smiths Beach (south end) to Bunkers Bay (west end) the course will follow the coast the same line as previous years, not venturing more than 400m from the coast line. If the conditions are over a 3 metre swell and 15 knots of wind all competitors will be required carry a hand held red flare. Please make sure you have it ready to carry.
Come and be part of this magnificent, beautiful and sometimes treacherous coastline. Yes we might just get a sea breeze this year??
