2010 Total Eyecare Huon Series Race 3

Each year the Derwent Canoe Club runs a series of races on the picturesque Huon River near Franklin and Huonville. The series is predominantly sheltered flat water making it suited to almost all paddlers in a wide range of craft. Races start and finish either at Franklin or at Huonville, with loop circuits used so paddlers finish where they start. These races are ideal preparation for anyone competing in the Winter/Huon Challenge. Races vary in length between 5 and 11 Kms and Sea Kayaks, Multi-sport Kayaks , Downriver Racers, Sit-on-Tops and Surf Skis are welcome.
