The Collie Adventure Race is held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October, against a backdrop of the picturesque countryside, river and bushland of the Collie River Valley. The race is a relay which starts and finishes at the Collie Showground; participation is invited from individuals or teams.
The stages are:
1. CANOE: 10 Km
Mass start, flat water, no Tea trees.
2. MOUNTAIN BIKE: 20 KM
A hilly course on a variety of surfaces. Mainly on old, unused tracks, through Jarrah forest.
3. SWIM: 1 Km
Mass start, wide open river pool.
4. ROAD CYCLE: 28 Km.
All bitumen, hilly terrain.
5. TRAIL RUN: 10 Km
All on dirt, half on the Bibbulmun Track.
