South Island Cross Country Olympic format (multi-lap) Mountainbike Champs
Sunday 4 February 2018
Crocodile XC MTB Park (event village within Halswell Quarry Park)
Proposed course is 4.3 km with 160 m of climbing per lap. Different categories will do different numbers of laps.
Race 1: All-comers (you want to participate, but aren’t up to competing in the Champs races)
Race 2: U15, U17, Senior and Masters (SI Champs)
Race 3: Kids fun race(s)
Race 4: Elite/U23, U19 (SI Champs)
Enter by 1st December and go in the draw to win a NZ mountainbike calendar (10 avaialable)
To enter U15, U17, Senior and Masters (SI Champs) race it is $50-$70 + race licence (day option of $10 available) + you need to be a member of a club
To enter Elite/U23, U19 (SI Champs) race it is $50-$70 + race licence ($35-$65) + you need to be a member of a club
To enter All-comers race, fee to be advised
To enter kids fun races it is free if someone else in your family is doing one of the other races, otherwise $5
