Coastal Classic

The Coastal Classic is a new running event comprising 29.1km of premium trail running along the Royal National Park’s iconic Coast Track.

Stretching from Otford to Bundeena, the course traverses pristine, isolated beaches, stunning coastline and ancient rainforest.

The course offers a bit of everything: sand, hills, rainforest, beaches – and magnificent views to top it off.

The Royal has long been popular with runners thanks to its great scenery and proximity to Sydney’s southern suburbs, but this is the first major event in recent years to use the Coast Track.

As well as offering runners the chance to compete along the classic Coast Track, the event will raise funds for the Royal National Park to assist in their track maintenance.

Entries open on 1 July 2010 and are strictly limited to 300 participants.
