Down Under 135
is one of the Southern Hemisphere's
Gnarliest Foot Races
Down Under 135 is created by 5 mates who have shown and proven in its first 6 editions that DU135 is one of the gnarliest, super demanding and extreme foot races offered anywhere in Australia. Covering 135 miles (220 km) single stage non-stop from start to finish, competitors will adventure across the single trails of the Lerderderg State Forest in Victoria located only 75km west of the Melbourne Airport and CBD.
DU135 is the race where the cliché of 'finding my limits' can genuinely be enacted. The race is not just about finishing. Most starters understand the enormity of the challenge in front of them and appreciate the race for what it gives them.....
A chance to find their limits.
This race is not for the athlete who has an ego about their DNF rate.
Making it to half way, you will still achieve 110km and 6000m+ of vert. These numbers alone (on paper) equate to the hardest 100km race in the nation.

2024 start / finish is at Blackwood
IN 2024 WE’RE REVERSING IT!
Feedback from our faithful returnee athletes is they love the way we modify the course each year and keep things fresh and unpredictable. So in 2024, along with our usual tweaks, we are reversing the whole race. The race will start and finish in Blackwood.
This will be an interesting adjustment. For some returnees, this could be the first time they will ever get to see Blackwood during the race, or even leave it .
Blackwood Caravan Park will be a great accommodation option for those wanting a very short commute to the start line on race day.
